Luigi Rovati is Full Professor of Electronic Instrumentation and Measurements at Department of Engineering "Enzo Ferrari" - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. His research activity is aimed at the study and implementation of sensing systems, including also optoelectronic techniques, for automotive and biomedical applications. Luigi Rovati is co-author of more than 250 scientific publications and numerous national and international patents. He is director and founder of the TACC program: Training for Automotive Company Creation and scientific director and founder of the laboratories of the Measurements, Instrumentation and Sensors group: OptoLab and ASELab; at the Mirandola Technopole ”Mario Veronesi”, he is scientific manager of the MS2 Laboratory: Materials, Systems and Sensors. Luigi Rovati is a founding stockholder of two university spin-offs, the representative of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia on the Board of Directors of CRIT srl and a member of the ITS_biomedical Board.
